We are pleased to announce that NPP effective December 1st 2005 has incorporated a computerized information
management system in the operation of its program. This change will improve significantly the services provided by our organization.
The firm of Towers System Inc has been contracted to implement and maintain the system.
From the point of view of the benefits to patients and staff and after a cost-benefit analysis, the expense appears to
be well justified. We therefore have proceeded with the implementation of the automated system. Its functions will include
front and back office operations, patient intake, treatment planning, counseling and methadone dispensing. Fiscal operation
is also covered. The system will be used to facilitate the performance of treatment outcome evaluations. It will also be sued
to conduct monthly internal auditing of our third party billing.
